Laoise holds a PhD in organisational communication and her research has been presented at numerous international conferences. An author on the subject of communication Laoise has contributed written chapters in the Internal communications textbook 'Exploring Internal Communications'
As Course Director at the Public Relations Institute of Ireland Laoise developed the PRII's Certificate in Internal Communication. She also leads their Executive Presence programme on which participants learn how to present brilliantly at a senior level and develop their skills to enable them to be truly effective in business.

The President of the International Association of Business Communicators’ Irish Chapter (IABC), Laoise is also a member of the International Research Advisory Committee for IABC.
A graduate of University College Dublin Laoise holds a BA International, Higher Diploma in Education and H Dip PR. She is a frequent keynote speaker, lecturer. A former radio presenter and secondary school teacher she she has a proven track-record of teaching the skills and strategies needed to become a powerful and credible communicator.
As well as media relations, crisis management and corporate affairs her consulting work focuses on improving organisational performance by boosting employee trust, improving internal communications and affecting overall organisational change.
